The Soldier's Tale began life as a Russian folk tale and the composer, Stravinsky uses clarinet, basson, cornet, trombones, violin, double bass, percussion and narrators to present a wonderful musical story. The story features marches and dances - waltzes and tangos - ragtime and song.
