Milton Keynes City Orchestra, in partnership with The Park’s Trust is delighted to announce Trevor Marshall as this year’s compere for the Proms in Campbell Park 2017.

Trevor Marshall has been described as the ‘Voice of Milton Keynes’ and is very much part of the fabric of the place he loves to call home. Trevor worked at local radio station, Horizon Radio, for 13 years, leading them to pick up two coveted Sony Radio Academy Gold Awards for radio station of the year, before going on to work at Capital Radio in London.

In 2007, Trevor launched a new brand of radio station in Oxford, Jack FM, where he still works to this day, presenting the breakfast show. The story of ‘Jack’ is a glorious one, and listeners and awards keep on coming! Jack FM is now the most awarded commercial radio station outside of London and Trevor has won the title of ‘UK Commercial Radio Presenter of the Year’ four times; the last of which was earlier this year.

Ahead of Trevor’s return to Proms in Campbell Park 2017, MKCO Chairman, Marian Livingstone said: “We’re so pleased to welcome Trevor back with a bigger role than last year, as he will work alongside our Conductor Damian Iorio on stage. Trevor is a brilliant, safe pair of hands with a creative instinct to keep events rolling.”
