A legacy gift for the MKCO is a very simple and fitting way of acknowledging the enrichment and enjoyment that classical music and the MKCO have brought to your life.
By leaving a gift to the MKCO in your Will, you will be making a real difference to the future of classical music and the arts in Milton Keynes, and will help to ensure that we can continue to develop our education and outreach programmes for the benefit of the community.
The public sector funding for classical music, ticket sales, corporate funding and grant funding covers only part of the costs needed to produce MKCO’s outstanding performance and education work. Every gift in every Will, however large or small, ensures that others can share in the experiences that brought joy to you .
You can designate your gift to be used by the Orchestra for its creative and artistic delivery, for the development of young people or for general purposes to lead to a sustainable future for the Orchestra.
All gifts/legacies to registered charities are exempt from Inheritance Tax ; and if more than 10% of the value of the total estate passes to charity the total rate payable on the rest of the estate is reduced from 40% to 36%.
If you do decide to make MKCO a beneficiary of your estate, thank you for generosity and please let us know so we can thank you personally to acknowledge you kindness.
