Yamaha Scholarship Winner

June 15 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

- £25

Conductor: Damian Iorio

  • Mozart: Symphony No. 35
  • Weber: Clarinet Concerto No 2 (Soloist: Piotr Dec, Yamaha Scolarship winner)
  • Haydn: London Symphony

It is rare to find to two symphonies in the same programme, so, for Mozart to open and Haydn to close is a real treat.

The concert surprise will be the soloist and their music. MKCO, though their partnership with Yamaha, will showcase the talent of the winner of the 2018 Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe scholarship. This year’s competition is for wind and brass players and the concerto will be announced once the winner has been chosen in February 2018.

We are delighted to announce that the soloist will be Piotr Dec https://uk.yamaha.com/en/news_events/2018/Yamaha_Clarinet_Scholars_at_UK_Finals.html
