The second of our international pianists of the season, Russian born Vitaly Pisarenko, will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, under the baton of Damian Iorio.

Damian conducted Vitaly with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra when he won 1st Prize at the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in the Netherlands in 2008. This success led to a packed tour schedule of world-wide engagements. Now Vitaly will perform with Damian once again and MKCO is delighted to reunite such a successful international pairing.

The concert also plays to Damian’s own Italian roots with Shubert’s Overture in the Italian style and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No.4 , The Italian.
