Overture to Prometheus

Piano Concerto no. 5 'The Emperor'    to listen click http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKnhI2w89bQ&feature=fvst

Beethoven's fifth and last piano concerto was given the nickname "Emperor" not by the composer but by early listeners who deemed it worthy of ruling over all other concertos - It has featured in films such as 'Dead Poet's Society' and is full of sparkling piano trills and melodies mixed with uplifting accompaniment from the Orchestra. You'll be smiling by the end of this performance we're certain.

Symphony no.6 'Pastorale' to listen click http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9HWo4THnHA

If you have seen Fantasia you will know this work well. Beethoven's 6th symphony is sensous music, which will relax you and fill your mind with wonderful images. Written on the theme of a day out in the country, the beautiful tunes simply flow over you.  Essential Listening.
